Rail

We're well into the summer now and I hope you're all enjoying hours of fun and taking loads of photos at one of the many Heritage Railways around the country.

From the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch down in Kent up to the Ravenglass and Eskdale in Cumbria, there are plenty of miniature, narrow gauge and standard gauge railways that run steam or diesel trains for you to ride on. Added to this impressive collection of working railways are several fine museums and other railway related attractions.

Swanage Railway

I know that this weekend the Swanage Railway is running evening trains for the Swanage Jazz festival. But if you're in that part of the world then a visit to this fabulous railway will not disappoint.
